SWEDEN WON THE EUROVISION SONG CONTEST 2012!!!
Loreen with Euphoria brought the entire thing home. :D
It’s very vindicating… We all know the man is a genius but now…. EVERYONE knows.

I completely agree with you. I’ve only seen it once though and I think it’s one of those movies you have to see at least twice to fully grasp the concept of it. It’s just that the movie made me feel really uncomfortable at the end and I don’t like movies that leave me with a creepy feeling :P But I really want to start loving it since it’s Joss Whedon’s creation but we’ll see.
Equality Now: 20th Anniversary Event (starring Eliza Dushku amongst others and new Joss Whedon material). The programme, which lists all the sketches etc, can be found at the source (x)

I just noticed that Concerta has started giving me facial tics…, not okay. They’re soo annoying. I hope this goes away or I’m gonna have to see my doctor about this..
And before anybody asks; I’m not posting a pic of my facial tics, way too humiliating :P.
I just tried getting the Spotify app on my iPhone, thought I’d try it for a bit to see if I liked it instead of playing my iTunes library all the time… well as it turned out, I’m not even allowed on Spotify since I don’t have Facebook anymore. I can’t believe Spotify urges you to get a Facebook account in order to use the product..
…that’s incredibly low of you Spotify….
I will never ever get Facebook again since I’m a firm believer in Facebook’s destructive power. Facebook ruined my way of communicating with people and it stressed me out so much when I was using it. Facebook is like a hard drug, you get addicted and the weeks after I deactivated my account I found myself in withdrawal. I felt weird and my surroundings didn’t feel real and I felt as if I was never going to be able to speak to people ever again without using the stupid Facebook chat. I’ve recovered now and can honestly say, now that I have a greater perspective, that I prefer the good old ways of communicating with people, even though it’s incredibly difficult for somebody on the autism spectrum, but still, Facebook is not my cup of tea so you guys can probably imagine how pissed I got when I discovered what Spotify wanted me to do in order to access it.. stupid Spotify..
I am so addicted to Minecraft. I can’t believe a poorly pixelated game could have such allure.. I guess it’s because it’s like lego and DOOM I & II….
Not only is the entire cast of The Guild in this video but Maurissa Tancharoen, Jed Whedon’s wife [Dollhouse, Dr. Horrible] is one of the background dancers :D.
Why am I so addicted to this show? It’s the funniest thing ever, and it makes me feel less guilty about playing Minecraft all day :P
I’m 3 days into my new meds - Concerta. It’s for my ADHD and naturally they put me on the lowest possible dose to begin with.. :/ I thought it was going to be like Effexor and take ages for it to show its magic but since it’s a stimulant; that was not the case.
Like I said, it’s only been 3 days but what I’ve noticed so far is:
• I laugh more [in general]
• I feel happier
• I get irritated with people quicker but it blows over fast
• I can focus & concentrate better
• the dizziness and electric-flashes when I turn my head fast are gone
• I feel calmer and not as stressed out
• My stimming has actually been helped by Concerta a bit :)
I think I’d do even better on a higher dose, I’ll definitely bring this up when I see the nurse next time, perhaps I can even start feeling normal for the first time ever :P.
Embarrassing thing about Concerta is that prior to getting my prescription I had to leave a urine sample and it turned out positive for morphine-compounds. The nurse asked me if I was on any pain relief or had had cough syrup recently. I was like; yeah.. that’s it… ehm.. I had a cough… last night.. *smile*. Well, it was a close call but now I’m on it anyway and I’ll behave for now.. :)
